The Materials Science Ph. D. Program
Requires a total of
72 semester hours of credit
- Including
approximately 34 hours of course work beyond the baccalaureate
degree
- A preliminary
examination on a students knowledge in the area of materials and
in a chosen area of specialization
- An approved
research dissertation
- An oral examination
