Admission
Admission to the
Materials Science Program requires a minimum grade point average
of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). A master of science degree in not a prerequisite
for application to the program.
To apply to the
Materials Science Ph.D. Program:
1. Apply
through the Graduate
School either online, downloading forms, or by contacting
them to request forms be mailed to you. Make sure you send them
all of their required documents along with the application fee.

The Graduate School
and the Materials Science Program must receive ALL of the required
documents in order for your application to be considered complete.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the response
time to an individual varies. The department's graduate coordinator
will respond to inquiries on the status of an application.
